Francesco Zorzi is an italian illustrator and visual designer based in uptown New York City and in Tuscany, Italy. Former co-founder and creative director at alias (exited in 2018), previously former Architect at Studio Sintesi (exited in 2000).

He has been featured in the latest three editions of Luerzer's Archive's "200 Best Illustrators Worldwide", in the 2016 edition of the "3X3 Illustration Directory", in the " 2015 American Graphic Design Awards" by GD Usa and in the first edition of Premio Illustri

He received Merit and Honorable Mention awards at the 3x3 International Illustration Show, Honorary Mention at Global Illustration Award 16, and two Gold Awards in the 2016 edition of the Muse Creative Awards

His illustrations have been recognized by Creative QuarterlyJuxtapoz magazine, and D La Repubblica. He has worked for Advertising AgeThe Boston GlobeThe New York Observer, and he is a contributor artist at Hemispheres Magazine. In the Summer 2018 he designed the illustration series for the visual identity system of Lincoln Center Out Of Doors festival in NYC.

Francesco Zorzi featured on the book by Steven Heller and Lita Talarico FREE HAND, New Typography Sketchbooks, Thames & Hudson.

He also featured the book The Illustration Idea Book: Inspiration from 50 Masters, by Steven Heller and Gail Anderson, Laurence King (November 2018), amongst illustrators and artists like Milton Glaser, Serge Bloch, Christoph Niemann, Noma Bar, Olimpia Zagnoli, Emiliano Ponzi

He's a contributor member of AIGA, The American Institute of Graphic Arts

He's an Adjunct Professor of Design at Srisa, Firenze, teaching the students of the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts of the Washington University in St. Louis
